The Coma Labyrinth

It's neither a wish nor a want, but rather a necessity.
And yet, here I am, waiting for and wanting what I won't readily welcome.

What I speak of: We cannot do without it, but sometimes we have to. We have created ways to make up for it, even when we give it away freely and without thought.
That time where we shut down, but not completely.
Our mind has all the power, to take us places and leave us there. Both pleasant and not, these places of the mind are sometimes highly influential.
A labyrinth, a race (through this very complicated labyrinth), and we never win. Not even when we've travelled it for a lifetime.
We superior beings are controlled by the very thing which makes us superior.

How about that?
