How do you know when it's time
To let go of the fairytales and embrace real life?
Or is it just a trick
To get you to forget
That your 7-year-old dreams can come true?
What if the world of your dreams too perfect to be,
and it doesn't even contain the real you?
Some impostor of heart makes you forget who you are
and believe there's a "perfect" for you.
So the two worlds collide at one point--him.
You're stuck in between, not knowing which world will win--
Will the princess prevail and save your fairytale
and run quickly away from what she believes would fall short,
or will the storm cloud conceal what may or may not be real
and lead you to learn of what's truly important?
Are you a stepping stone or the end of the road?
If I could figure out answer, I could go the right way,
But my heart is a mess, so I can't.
